Inside the metropolitan area there is a natural oasis known as the San Patricio Forest. This small forest has more than 60 species of trees and 30 species of birds. All its trails are paved. It is frequented by nature lovers to do exercise, walk, jog or to run bicycle. Others prefer to take advantage of its relaxing atmosphere to pray or meditate. It’s open from Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
