Green Beach
Vieques, Puerto Rico

Green Beach is part of the western side of the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. It covers a huge territory surrounded by abundant vegetation. It has several entrances with gazebos, where you will be able to stop to enjoy the water and the unique vista. It is a great place for snorkeling. Sunset from here is spectacular, but bring insects repellent because mosquitoes abound in the afternoon. The way that leads you to the beach is interesting: you will find the Kiani lagoon, you will drive through mangroves and you will cross small bridges. We highly recommend an all-terrain vehicle in order to arrive at this beach. It does not have sanitary facilities.
