Culebra, Puerto Rico
The Flamenco Beach is the main attraction of the small island Culebra. In order to arrive there you must take a ferry that leaves from Fajardo. Once you are in the port of Culebra you can arrive at the beach using public transportation. This beach is considered one of the best beaches in the world. Its sand is white, the water is crystal clear and it practically has no waves. There is a shallow area where you can snorkel. Its shore is more than a mile long and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. In order to counteract this natural wonder, on the left side of the beach you will find the remains of two tanks of the American Army, which reminds us that in the past this beach was used for military practices. There are lifeguards, showers, baths and a campground. In the entrance of the beach there are businesses that rent chairs and kiosks of beach essentials and food. The parking is free.
This beach was selected for the post Puerto Rico top 10 beaches.
