Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico
Balneario Boquerón is one of the most popular beaches of Puerto Rico. This beach has numerous palm trees and an extensive coast covered with calm water. Because this beach is on the west side of Puerto Rico, it’s perfect for watching the sunset. It has facilities that allow the disabled people to take a dip in the beach. There are restrooms, showers, a recreational area for children, basketball court, beach volleyball field, a center for activities, and facilities for the disembarkation of boats. For the security of its swimmers, it has lifeguards and cops. There are villas and cabins for rent, which are administered by the “Compañía de Parques Nacionales”. Parking costs $3. We recommend using insect repellent because there are mangroves near the beach.
This beach was selected for the post Puerto Rico top 10 beaches.
